This is a text description of Figure 7-13, "CPI-C Destination Names Dialog Box".

The text surrounding the figure describes the use of this dialog box.

The figure is a screen capture image and contains example data that may not match your system. You must make selections appropriate for your system. The window title bar has the name: "CPI-C destination names".

The client area* has two sections. One section contains several lines of data. The other section (which is located at the right edge of the client area) is a column of six buttons.

The top four buttons in the column are labeled (from top to bottom):

  1. "New..."

  2. "Delete"

  3. "Properties..."

  4. "Copy..."

The lower two buttons are separated from the upper four buttons by a space. The lower two buttons are labeled:

  1. "Help"

  2. "Done"

ALL six buttons have clear labels, which indicates that they are functional under the given conditions.

In the client area, the phrase "CPI-C symbolic destination names" is displayed at the top with an outline to indicate that this line is active (it has been selected). The first part of the line has an icon of a sheet of paper with a corner turned down, and this sheet of paper is partially overlapped at the bottom, right corner by a small rectangle that looks like a monitor or computer screen. This same icon is displayed at the beginning of each destination name line.

The section of the client area with the list of defined modes (below the phrase "CPI-C symbolic destination names") has a vertical scroll bar (with scroll box and scroll arrows) to reveal portions of the window that may have scrolled out of view. The seven visible lines are:

  1. APPCMVS

  2. CICSPGA

  3. D51CLU DB2 V5.1 on MVS

  4. D51FLU DB2 V5.1 on MVS

  5. D61CLU DB2 V6.1 on MVS

  6. D61FLU DB2 V6.1 on MVS

  7. D71CLU DB2 V7.1 on MVS

The fifth line (for D61CLU) is highlighted.

*client area (or pane) refers to the information section within the window frame or border.
