This is a text description of Figure 6-16, "Set APPC Mode Characteristics".

The text surrounding the figure describes the use of this dialog box. The figure is a screen capture image and contains example data that may not match your system. You must make selections appropriate for your system. The title bar label is "APPC Mode Properties".

This is the same dialog box as described in figures 6-14 and 6-15. The client area* has three tabs, and the third tab has been selected. The three tabs are labeled "General", "Limits", and "Characteristics" (selected). A row of three buttons is at the bottom.

At the upper right corner of the "General" tab is an icon of an open notebook. The tab has four lines of data. The first line has the phrase "Pacing Send Count:" (the "P" is underlined) followed by an edit box with the entry "4". The second line has the phrase "Pacing Receive Count:" (the "R" is underlined) followed by an edit box with the entry "4". The third line has the phrase "Max Send RU Size:" (the first "x" is underlined) followed by an edit box with the entry "2048". The fourth line has the phrase "Max Receive RU Size:" (the "U" is underlined) followed by an edit box with the entry "2048". To the right of the last two lines is a check box (not checked) with the label "High Priority Mode" (the "H" is underlined).

The three buttons are labeled: "OK", "Cancel", and "Help".
