The middle layer is Oracle Automatic Storage Management, which includes Oracle ASM files for Oracle Database, Oracle Automatic Storage Management Cluster File System (Oracle ACFS) file systems, third-party file systems, and Oracle ASM Dynamic Volume Manager (Oracle ADVM).
The layer at the bottom is the operating system.
