Use the rmmf
command to remove a media family.

command.
rmmf [ --nq ] media-family-name ...
Does not display a confirmation message. If you do not specify this option, then the command displays a confirmation message. The message is described in "Command Execution in Interactive Mode".
Specifies the name of the media family you want to remove. Note that you cannot remove the RMAN-DEFAULT
media family.
Example 2-131 removes the media families named content-man-family
and time-man-family
.
